Description
1. Application:
The mounting box is intended for electrical installation in interior door or drywall (hollow) constructions. Suitable for sockets, switches, and other electrical installation devices. Recessed, therefore there is more space for installation!
2. Main technical parameters:
Built-in diameter (hole size in the wall): Ø 68 mm
External box diameter: Ø 70 mm
Depth: 62 mm
Material: Halogen-free plastic (usually PVC or PP)
Color: Orange
Protection class: IP30 (indoor installation only)
Heat resistance: -5 °C to +60 °C
Installation:
With metal press screws (built-in clamps) that secure the box in the drywall
Simple installation without additional tools
3. Functionality:
Flexible cable entries: With knock-out perforations for wires or pipes (from 16 to 25 mm)
Connectivity: Boxes can be connected together to form multiple socket combinations (switches/sockets side by side)
Durable housing: Retains shape during installation and provides secure electrical connection protection
Internal lugs: Easy fixation of socket/switch screws
4. Installation:
1. Drill a Ø 68 mm hole in the wall with a hole saw.
2. Knock out the necessary cable entries in the perforated places.
3. Insert the box into the hole.
4. Tighten the fastening clamp with a screwdriver until the box is fixed in the wall.
5. Insert and screw in the electrical installation device.
